What Causes Excessive Intestinal Gas And Abdominal Bloating?
I went to an md my stomach has been bloated and have a lot of gas she gave me a check up and said it was gas in upper stomach but it has not gone down I took gas ex for a few weeks but did not help and I m worried it might be something bad I have ra already going to see her again in few days should I ask for an ultra sound?

It can be due to gastritis or irritable bowel disease (IBD). As first-line management, you can take antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole for symptomatic relief. In severe cases, endoscopy may be required.
