What Causes Excessive Loss Of Weight With Sweating And Nose Bleeding?

My friend has been very fatigued lately, has lost 10 pounds suddenly, sweats like crazy during the day and night, has random bruises, recently frequent nosebleeds, a temperature of 101 degrees, and does not have an appetite whatsoever anymore. She went to her doctor today, but the doctor just focused on her recent hip injury from track and completely ignored all of her other issues. What are your thoughts on that situation?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think your friend's case should get a good physical examination, not only on hip injury. Sweating and nose bleeding could be related to medications she might have been prescribed for the pain on injured hip. Should monitor her blood pressure and record the results for reference. Discuss this with her caring doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
