Hello,

You have multiload inserted about 9 months back since then you are experiencing heavy bleeding. Bleeding between periods, missed or irregular bleeding are common side effects of multiload that commonly go away in 3-6 months after insertion. Since you are still having heavy bleeding, discomfort, anemia, etc. It may be indicative that your body is rejecting multiload.

When the body rejects IUD, symptoms like heavy vaginal bleeding, cramping or soreness in the lower abdomen, unusual vaginal discharge, etc., are experienced. You are suggested to get the IUD removed. You can consult your gynecologist and get any other contraceptive device. Improve your general heath condition. Boost your immunity.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
