What Causes Excessive Perspiration And Severely High Blood Sugar Levels?

I have been overly hot. I perspire all the time. My dr. Put me on ditto pan but how can this be bladder related. I have diabetes and my sugar has been haywire also. I have been in the high 500’s and up to 600. I’ve gone to the hospital but where I live they never know what to do.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Before running into final conclusions, I'd like to have the full reports of your lab tests, so I could understand your situation better. In lack of those results, and from what you are describing, I can think that the severely high blood sugar levels (bsl) are the reason of your problems with being overly hot; perspiring all the time. So, the first thing to do is to reduce your bsl: - increase the dose of meds you are already taking- add any new medication; perhaps insulin to start or change. At the point of being always up to 500 or 600; then, you need to get hospitalized to start immediate therapy to reduce these levels.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
