General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for question.I can understand your concern.

Excessive salivation,it could be your throat and mouth infections or dentures that don't fit well, medications, allergies ,sinusitis and some nuerological conditions.
In most instances, this condition can come suddenly, last for some time and eventually go away.

I would suggest you to visit doctor to find out if the problem is due to increased saliva production or a decreased ability to swallow.
Treatment of persistent, excessive salivation is directed at the underlying cause, if possible.
Hope i answered your question.
If you have queries i will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
