General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Though there is no fever at the moment, fatigue is common symptom and sign of an infection.

It is possible that he has a mild viral illness that he is fighting off. If the fatigue continues for a long period (more than a week) with no other symptoms of infection then other causes of extreme tiredness would need to be excluded.

Eg anemia, thyroid disease and more serious conditions.

This would require a complete history of his symptoms, physical examination and blood tests.

Treatment would depend on the findings

I hope this helps
