What Causes Excessive Sleepiness When Suffering From Steal Syndrome?
I ve been diagnosed with subclass an steal syndrome, siezurez, and I ve had 3 bypasses. About the last month I ve been falling, running into walls, falling asleep at the most unopposed times . My Dr also heard a bruit at last check up. I hate to think about what my problem is but I feel I should still know. Any ideas???
Subclavian steal syndrome can cause decreased blood flow to the brain and thus can cause excessive sleepiness and fatigue. Consult a cardiologist and he will direct you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
