What Causes Excessive Sleepiness While On Buproprion, Hydroxyzine And Soma?

My daughter is taking Buproprion, Hydroxyzine, Soma, methocarbam, Lorazepam and Fenofibrate. These have been prescribed by her doctors and supposedly all of them are knowledgeable about her conditions. There are other medications she is taking but these are the ones I am most concerned about. Sometimes it is difficult to arose her from her sleep (she prefers to stay up mostly at night and sleep during the day) and there are times she is not clearly focused. She has three beautiful daughters. I live in the home with the family including dad. Should I be concerned about her condition?

Hi,

If she stays up late at night then she would have increased drowsiness and difficulty concentrating at night especially with some of the meds mentioned.

Lorazepam and the muscle relaxants can all cause drowsiness and confusion in some persons.

Soma is normally only prescribed and used for a few weeks, so continued use should be assessed.
