What Causes Excessive Sleepiness?
I am sleeping excessively. I recently Iiterally slept for 3 days. I work full time 10 hour shifts. I m an RN. I was recently placed pm Cymbalta and seroquil for 2 weeks. I have had insomnia for years. I have tried ambian, clonipine, and other meds which were successful but side effects were too much. I have cardiomyopathy, but last EF was 45.

Hi,
Seroquil can cause excessive sleep rather it's very sedative .For same reason we start it from low dose at night. Generally this problems settles with time so gradually increase the dose. So you can reduce the dose and gradually increase it.
