What Causes Excessive Sleeping And Constant Fatigue?
I I am desperate. my primary care physician refuses to listen to me about a condition that could be very dangerous for me and others. I fall asleep all the time. while driving at work any time I set down I m asleep within a min. I can sleep 18 hours day and still be tired.

Hi,
You have to rule out thyroid problem first by serum TSH and free T4 estimation. If it comes normal than rule out narcolepsy like condition. If needed your doctor will suggest you investigate with polysomonography like study. The excess depression also can lead such presentation some time.
