What Causes Excessive Sleeping While On Levofloxacin?
my 80 year old mother takes a lot of medications for various health problems. one of her doctors recently gave her some levofloxacin. she has taken one a day for 4 days and has 4 left to take. she has been extra sleepy and says she can t focus her thoughts well. this is unusual for her.

Levofloxacin may cause some patients to become dizzy, lightheaded, drowsy, or less alert than they are normally. It is normal and will go away after the treatment.
