my child just fell and hit is head pretty hard and now is sweating profusely despite it being 68 degrees in my house(central ac) should i be worried. there is no vomiting and he was not knocked out he seems to be acting his normal clumsy self and talking normally for him just the sweating is unusual.
Thanks for consulting. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.
excessive sweating can occur with infection or inflammation. do not worry about it. just check if the child is having fever and look at the sit of injury for any swelling or redness. if you find any she may need treatment so take her to an ER near you. other wise do not worry.
Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.
Have a wonderful time ahead.
Best Regards! Dr. Arunmozhi varman
