What Causes Excessive Sweating After Chemotherapy?
Hello doctor. My mama had chemotherapy one day ago...and he is in 4th stage of colon cancer ...means cancer reach up-to liver. After chemotherapy he start sweating and still now whenever he use to sleep ...he is sweating. Can you help me with this that why he is sweating this much ?
Hello, Good Evening, Effects on women. For some women, periods become irregular during chemotherapy but return to normal after treatment. For others, chemotherapy may cause periods to stop completely (menopause)Signs of menopause include hot flushes, sweating especially at night and dry skin. This may happen because your body is trying to fight the cancer. Hormone level changes may also be a cause. When cancer causes a fever, your body may sweat excessively as it tries to cool down. In some cases, night sweats occur due to cancer treatments such as chemotherapy. Regards, Dr.Naeem. MD
