What Causes Excessive Sweating All Over The Body?

I have excessive sweating all over. Head also. I sleep with a towel on pillow at night and turn it thru the night. Some nights have to get another towel. I take Oxy 7.5/325 4 times per day. My next RX will be for 5/325 on my request to get off of this drug.

Hi, thanks for using Healthcare Magic.

This condition that you feel called hyperhidrosis.
Common diffuse hyperhidrosis is characterized by excessive sweating throughout the body. These symptoms are usually accompanied by symptoms of other heart problems, such as heart palpitations, chest pain, shortness of breath, swelling on the body, etc.

This situation can be caused by:
1. Cardiac abnormalities, such as heart failure or cardiac muscle infarction,
2. Increased activity of the sympathetic nervous system.
3. Diabetes (diabetes),
4. Thyroid disease,
5. Tuberculosis (much sweat at night),
6. Consumption of certain drugs,
7. Anxiety disorders

Since you took Oxycotin 5/325 (which mean Oxycodone 5 mg plus acetaminophen 325 mg), the condition you experienced could be triggger by Oxycodone.

Oxycodone known as painkiller from narcotic class. So, you should not stop this drugs suddenly.
Talk to your doctor if this condition really bothering you.
Make sure you keep your room temperature as cold as possible.

Take care,
Dr. Nurul Falah
