What Causes Excessive Sweating And Frequent Urination At Night?

I m a 24 year old male, and for the past six months I have been waking up 2-4 times a night to go pee and always pee large amounts. I am also suffering from excessive sweating all night long but do not have either of these things happen during the day. I can t figure out what is going on but it s causing a lot of problems for me To sleep.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I share your concern
Frequent urination at night is quite a worrisome, I can understand your problem
This could be associated with psychogenic polydipsia and excessive intake of water or can be caused by diabetes insipidus or UTI

I would advise you to consult your doctor whenever you get time for a battery of tests like blood sugar and urine test for osmolality and culture

Meanwhile try to restrict urine intake especially at night
Exercise regularly which increases metabolism and functioning of all body systems

Thanks for your question
wish you good health
regards
I find this answer helpful
