What Causes Excessive Sweating And Sleeping Along With Fatigue?

My daughter is 16. she has KT syndrome, a vascular tumor from her mid waist to right foot. Recently, she is experiencing difficulty with concentration, excessive sweating, fatigue, sleeping longer than normal. She is a normal, active teen normally. Would there be a thyroid problem?

Hi,

Since the cause of KT syndrome is not known. Then symptomatic treatment can be done but if you are thinking about thyroid problem you can go for thyroid hormone analysis. If there is any indication of thyroid then it should be treated. Since she is normal then not to worry. For the problem she is having you can go for second opinion from a senior specialist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
