What Causes Excessive Sweating, Cold, Severe Headaches And Tiredness After Traveling?
Hi, My husband recently got back from a trip to Miami and he said he started waking up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat while he was there and has continued since he has been home. He will then have bouts of being cold, has had some severe headaches down through his neck, and has been super tired. I am thinking he might have picked something up while traveling. Should I make him go see a doctor?
As per your query you have symptoms of excessive sweating, cold, severe headaches and tiredness. Which can occur due to reasons like hormonal changes , nervous problem or thyroid disease. The symptoms can also occur due to tiredness or food poisoning , which usually occur while traveling. I would suggest you to keep you self hydrated , take paracetamol , take proper rest and eat fresh. If symptoms still persists then consult general physician . Doctor may order blood test , stool test along with physical examination and prescribe medicine accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved. Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
