Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Excessive Sweating, Dizziness And Headache?
my son is almost 13 years old. In the last two days he has woken up with severe sweating. He said he feels dizzy and complains of a headache with pain down the side of his neck. He does not have a fever and no other signs of illness. He has been drinking plenty of water and has been eating soup, etc. Is this something I should be concerned about?
I went through your details. First of all you should address the climate. How is it? Is it too hot? During hot day and moderate night, unexpected profuse sweating could trigger panic and therefore startling and muscle aches. Even nightmare can trigger panic reactions as you mentioned here. Talk to your son regarding these two aspects. If these are normal, please consult a chuld specialist for further advise.
If you require more of my help in this aspect, please use this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute detail possible.
Hope this answers your query. Further clarifications are welcome. Good luck. Take care.
