What Causes Excessive Sweating In The Head And Neck?

I am a 84 year old woman. Lately especially this past summer, I have been sweating profusely around the head and neck. It sometimes comes on suddenly and leaves about 5 minutes later. But always when I am cleaning or doing yardme work. What s wrong with me?

1. Do you take any medicines?
2. Since when this is occurring?
3. Is there any additional symptoms like facial redness, restlessness, etc?
4. Is there any problem in urination, like frequent urination?
5. Do you feel depressed every day?
6. Do you feel feverish?
7. Is there any kind of swelling in neck or shoulder?
8. Is there any Itchy skin or rash?

I would like to suggest some test:
1. Complete Blood Count
2. Thyroid Function Test (T3, T4, TSH)
3. Tests for a Blood level of Estrogen and Progesterone
4. Liver Function Test
5. Test for CA-125

All the answers and tests are very important in diagnosing what is going on and what the next treatment plan should be.
