What Causes Excessive Sweating On The Chest And Groin Area?

I have oderless chest and groin night sweats every night I sleep with an a/c every night with a sheet a light blanket on. I have Orthostatic hypotension, I am anemic and I have had all the tests you have mentioned here and normal results with the minor exception of a slight kidney function problem. I am on all kinds of meds for pain because of the way my body is falling apart. So how can I stop the nightly swaets?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.

To stop the nightly sweats you need to know what is causing them:
- anemia? how well are you controlling ?
- metabolic issues: you mention slight kidney problem? how is it to consider slight?
- thyroid issues?
- electrolyte imbalance?
- hypoglycemia?

So, a review of the tests results is necessary to understand your current health problems, so we can help you stop night sweats.

Hope you understand.
