What Causes Excessive Sweating, Slight Dizziness And Sensitivity To Loud Noise?

Hello, I have an older brother who has been having some rather strange symptoms for about 8 years now that have yet to be diagnosed. Symptoms include excessive sweating the hair on his arms stands straight up like he s standing outside in a blizzard, slight dizziness, sensitivity to loud sounds, and a sort of recurring video playback that replays in his head of events that happened the very day this all started, which was about 8 years ago. Any ideas?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The auditory issue can be related to alteration in the conduction pathway at cochlear particular hair cells apical regions.

Associated excess sweating and dizziness has to be evaluated with an MRI brain and other neurologic evaluation to rule out Horner syndrome or other lesions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
