Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Excessive Sweating, Tingling In The Lips And Lightheadedness?
Hi, I work outside in construction, I take high blood pressure medication, the problem is that I sweat like no one else(alot) and when I bend over and get back up I have tingling in and around my lips, I get light headed, and sometimes see spots, I drink alot of water but sweat it out fast.
However, with such sweating episodes along blood pressure spikes should rule out endocrine causes with baseline Thyroid profile as well as urinary metanephrines levels to rule out pheochromocytoma.
Serum electrolytes should also be monitored. A fresh review of hypertension medications may also be needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician

What Causes Excessive Sweating, Tingling In The Lips And Lightheadedness?
Hi, Based on the history you have shared, some blood pressure medication can cause electrolyte imbalance which can cause such symptoms as you explained.
