What Causes Excessive Sweating While On Glucosamine?

Excessive sweating. I am 69 and through menopause many years. For at least 6-8 weeks I have had excessive sweating and am frequently very hot. I have had some steriod back and hand injections since middle Oct. and had my last shot Dec 8. My MD did not think the steriods were causing it. I have not changed my medications except to stop generic Ditropan and started glucosamine chondroitin15/mg. but have not been real consistent taking it. My MD has ordered a thyroid test. What else could be causing this? Thanks

Hi,

Excessive sweating and flushing off are symptoms of menopause. Glucose may not be cause of such symptom. Menopause will last up to 4 to 5 years. So you should go for thyroid test ,endocrine test if there is abnormality then it can be treated as they also can cause some problem.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
