General & Family Physician, Dr. Dr. H Kay's Response
Hi,
You can go for a barium meal for the diagnosis of hiatal hernia. It's possible you are having histamine intolerance. Histamine intolerance is a condition where the body has difficulty metabolizing histamine, a compound found in many foods.
Symptoms of histamine intolerance can include flushing, sweating, headaches, and gastrointestinal symptoms. If you suspect that your symptoms are due to histamine intolerance, it may be helpful to keep a food diary and avoid high-histamine foods to see if your symptoms improve. Try taking ant histamine.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. H. Kay, General & Family Physician
