What Causes Excessive Sweating, itching And Elevated Blood Pressure?
I am a 58 yo woman that was diagnosed with erythrocianosis in 1977. I am currently exhibiting symptoms that are similar to what happens in cold conditions, but I am in a warm environment. I have started having trouble with excessive sweating ,itching and have had an elevated blood pressure . Is this erythrocianosis or something else?
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Excessive sweating, itching along with elevated blood pressure are usually symptoms of hyperthyroidism. 2. Get your thyroid hormone profile evaluated. You maybe possibly suffering from graves disease or early hashimoto thyroiditis. FNAC of thyroid maybe necessary for further evaluation. 3. Erythrocyanosis usually occurs in cold and affects only the skin. Blood pressure elevation is not seen in this condition. Get the tests done. Further opinion possible only after tests are done. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
