What Causes Excessive Thirst And Discomfort During Urination?

I am having excessive thirst, I have been drinking a LOT of water for the past several hours. I have slight lower left back pain, and when I urinate there is a tightness in the center of my pelvic area, along with an odd tingling sensation. My heart rate is also elevated to approx. 120BPM. Should I go to the hospital?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Yes, you should. It could be a urinary tract infection, but also diabetes, so you should definitely be seen for urinary tests and blood tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen,
General Surgeon
