What Causes Excessive Thirst And Weight Loss While On Heart Medications?

i am very thirsty,all the time ,even though it is very cold and i take liquid every now and then. I am a heart patient and take different heart medications. i m not sure if i m retaing any water in my body as i m not gaining weight. i also get tired easily and my mouth is always wet,watery all the time. need some advise.

These are common complications of several heart failure medications, especially beta-blockers and water pills (like metoprolol and lasix, respectively). You should discuss these side effects with your cardiologist as he/she may have suggestions for different medications that will settle better with your body.
