What Causes Excessive Tiredness While On Pantoprazole And Sertraline?

my husband seems to be more tiered than usual he had a stoke a bout a 2 months ago and had surgery to have his artery in his neck cleaned. but we seem to think that it may be his medications he is currently taking. Pantoprazole 40mg, or sertraline hcl 100mg 2 A DAY Atorvastatin 20 mg Amlodipine 5 mg. what would your opinion be as to why he is overly tiered.

From your medicinal data provided, it is the drug Sertraline which causes excess tiredness. I don't know what for your doctor prescribed for and how long he is on that drug? Usually sertraline is an antidepressant commonly used in adults with depression, panic attacks, anxiety like conditions. There is need to take care of the patient who are newly prescribed the drug. Because it causes mood changes, irritation, restlessness like symptoms. Don't worry these are tolerable on the go. The drug causes tiredness, sleeplessness, dizziness. So if this makes you uncomfortable means, reduce the dose after getting consult your prescribed doctor to avoid any symptoms recurrence. Because dose is needed for your husband. Hope you got that.
