What Causes Excessive Urination?

I got up this morning and saw a lot of urine in my first urinating. I went for regular check up with a urologist five days back and he said every thing is ok. What could have caused this? I am 85 and 3 months. I am otherwise quite healthy and go to work.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello Dear. You might have got urinary infection or urinary incontinence. If you have urine infection, it will be evident with a urine analysis. You can be treated with antibiotics and urine clearing agents like syrup citralka.
For urinary incontinence a battery of tests have to be done. Doctors may suggest you few pelvic floor exercises, treat you with medications. Surgery may be required only in case of severe incontinence.

Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you.
All the best
With warm regards
