Hello, I have today a lot of discharge plus a horible smell like rot. I also have for one year thrush so when i went to emergency ( dont have yet gp) they just supposed that this is thrush and prescribe me canesten. It also itch a lot and in few days maybe one week my period should start, might this be some kind of pre-period thing? or these are some infections?
Hello dear I understand your concern Excessive vaginal discharge with smell suggests vaginal infection (Fungal, chlamydia, bacterial vaginosis) or cervicitis. Consult the gynecologist and go for vagianl examiantion, vaginal swab test and urine test to confirm the above infection. Doctor will give following advises: Take single dose treatment: Azithromycin + fluconazole + secnidazole Vaginal suppository of clingen and lactobacillus Apply vagisil cream Maintain proper pelvic hygiene by using V-vaginal plus wash Wear pure cotton loose inners Wash vagina with warm salted water Take healthy diet with vitamin supplements to increase the immunity Drink plenty of water to increase the systemic circulation Hope this may help you
