What Causes Excessive Weight Gain After Taking Epidural Steroid Injection?

I ve had several epidural steroid injections. Unfortunately I have put on twenty five lbs.in nine months and now my thyroid is under active which I think is due to the shots I m on meds for my thyroid..what I would like to know is when will this start leveling off?

It is not related to steroid shot.
