What Causes Excessive Weight Gain Along With Abdominal Bloating And Fatigue?

i am a 47 year old woman who works very hard and often. several of my symptoms that i am now questioning i have ignored in the past simply because i thought they may have been attributed to my daily routine. i am currently experiencing weight gain, extreme bloating and discomfort, fatigue, tenderness to my breasts and torso, joint and muscle aches, headaches, ect. i feel like a hypocondriac and i really know i shouldn t simply because i know my symptoms are real...i just don t know what caused everything to hit me at once

Hi,

If your life is not sedentary that means you are working on a daily routine, the symptoms you have given in your history are suggesting of hypothyroidism, it can't be the final diagnosis but you may need to get your thyroid profile done.

My opinion is to consult a general physician before consulting an Endocrinologist. Make sure you also do light exercise on daily bases to maintain your weight and blood circulation.
