What Causes Excessive Weight Gain And Burning Sensation While Urinating?
I have gained a little weight in the past few months, am about 75 kgs , my cycle has been shifting 10 days every month for the past few months. I was expecting it on 6th this month, but I only experience a burning sensation while urinating sometimes and a lot of white discharge. Is it normal or can it be an infection or even a pregnancy?
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Weight gain is generally as a result of excess energy reserves. That is, energy you get from food is more than what you use for your daily activities. The excess will be stored as protein in muscles and fats in adipose tissues.Just controllong your diet/staying away from "junk foods" and staying active may help control weight. Burning sensation while urinating may be caused by a UTI.A urinalysis may help identify the cause.Shifting periods for the past few months may not be due to pregnancy since you at least have your periods. The only issue is that periods delay. This symptom with white discharges suggest that you get investigated as wall for a PID/STI. I will suggest you see the Doctor for examination and tests like urinalysis, vaginal swap smear test, chlamydia, syphilis tests and a pelvic ultrasound. Hope this will help Wish you good health
