What Causes Excessive Weight Loss After Being Injected With Dental Bleach?

A friend of mine has been injected with dental bleach instead of novacaine when at the dentist for a root canal. this happened several years ago but her body is slowly shutting down and she is losing weight dramatically. she has seen a neurogastrointerologist but is still not getting the help she needs. Can you give me any suggestions?
