What Causes Excessive Weight Loss Along With Fatigue?
Hello, my arm has reacted to a tb test done 3 days ago. However I did not know that I was tested positive when younger. I have been losing weight drastically, no appetite, fatigue, period every two weeks, blood in urine twice this year, low vitamin d and b12, coughing, nausea, tingling and numbness in hard sand arms, chest pains, short breathes. I would like to know if I should go to the hospital now to get tested, I am worried if it’s active to not pass it to my daughter and others
Hello there I have read through your and understand your concern. You said that you have tested positive for tuberculin test that means you may be suffering from tuberculosis. The weakness, chest congestion and weight loss may be attributed to it. It can be confirmed on a sputum examination and chest x-ray. If you have tuberculosis you will have to take anti TB regimen depending upon your stage and severity of disease. Tuberculosis can be transmitted to close contact s as it spreads through droplet infection. So I would advise you to get tested as soon as possible as your family members are at risk of contracting. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
