What Causes Excessive Weight Loss While Suffering From Diabetes?

Hi, My husband has been a type2 diabetic for over 25 years. Lately he has been loosing weight he went down from 131 to 114 in the past 2 months. He has no appetite, no strength and a very bad disposition. We sought a second opinion the gastrologist said the metformin medication was making him loose weight, so he stopped 3 months ago but has lost another 7 pounds in 5 weeks. He still has no appetite and no strength, what can we do. Sorry for the typo. Thank You

1st of all control his blood sugar as close to normal lavels as you can by exercise and diet. Now yes it can be due to metformin. Ask your physcian to start some other drug. I suggest taking insulin will be the fest for you
