What Causes Excessive Yellowish Watery Nasal Discharge And Swallowing Difficulty?

I keep getting a yellowy clear watery substance out my right nostril it s quite a lot and lasts few minutes there is family history of quite a few different cancers do I need to get checked by a doctor because sonetimes I find it hard to swallow to like it s full of gunk or something

Persistent nasal discharge may be due to infection and you may need a course of antibiotics.

It is not a symptom of cancer.

The 'gunk' that you mentioned in your throat that is affecting your swallowing may be due to post nasal drip of mucus.
This is usually due to sinusitis which would also be contributing to your nasal discharge as well.

Treatment includes: (1)avoiding any known allergens
(2)treatment with a topical nasal spray such as nasonex, nasocort, flonase, rhinocort
(3)oral antihistamines
