What Causes Excruciating Pain During The Intercourse?
Hey. I am 21 years old and I have had sex twice with my boyfriend. First time in January and the second time, a couple of days ago. The problem is that I feel excruciating pain when he is inside. It s not because of the hymen tearing because I lost my hymen to yoga. Please tell me what can it be.
I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.
Pain during sex can be due to many conditions once the penis is entering or its completely in. Most common are emotional instability, vaginal dryness ( reduced lubrication) , vaginismus, genital injury etc.
I advice you to have * Increased foreplay * application of 20% xylocaine gel in & around vagina for 15minutes & wipe it off. * Avoid medications like birthcontrol pills, antihistamines etc. * exercises to relax vagina * counselling to get rid of anxiety.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.
Regards, Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
