What Causes Excruciating Pain On The Right Foot During Nights?

I am a healthy, 65 year old, hate to mention my age, but, each nite I am experiencing an excruciating pain on my right foot, it is on the top part, and it is feeling like a burn pain. The pain dissipates towards morning, but it is still there, though not as intense. PLEASE HELP!
