What Causes Experiencing Of Flash Of Light In Vision?

Hello , I n experiencing a flash of light in my right eye when I move my eye right to left and up and down. The light appears in the outer bounds of my vision and is also visible when my eye is shut. Again its in the peripheral of my view. Any thoughts? I live 3000 miles from the nearest eye care doctors.

Hi..Welcome to HCM..
Are you near sighted and wearing glasses?
Flashes of light could be an indication to evaluate the periphery of retina for any tears or breaks especially if your wearing minus glasses..
Sometimes it is due to strain or lack of sleep also.
It definitely warrants a complete ocular examination including the periphery of the retina sooner or later..
Hope I have answered your query..
Will be available for further queries..Take care..
