What Causes Extra Growth Between Teeth And Lip Along With Blurred Vision?
I am a 42 year old female and have had a hard i cm size growth between my teeth and lower lip for a month. It is accompanied by blurred vision in my right eye and headaches (i have never really had them). I saw my dentist yesterday and he tells me I need an MRI right away. Why?
Understanding your concern. As per your query your symptoms of growth between lip and teeth along with blurred vision and headaches is due to facial nerve impingement probably. Doctor advised you MRI to find out the nature and extent of lesion to rule out any underlying malignant patholgy. Need not to panic about it. You should get MRI done and start treatment accordingly after proper diagnosis. Maintain oral hygiene. Avoid smoke and alcohol. Visit dentist again and start treatment. You should start with facial muscle exercises as well as stretching as well. You should take muscle relaxant and neuroconvulsant drug as well. If your symptoms keeps on exaggerating you should get other tests done as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
