Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have extreme burning in the throat area. My family doctor has been treating me with a medication for ulcers. It seemed to have worked for a period of time but has recently become more severe and the medication no longer seems to be helping. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Hi.. Welcome to HCm.. It could be because of acid reflux from stomach.. If the regular antacids are not helping you you need to consult the doctor for further follow up and to decide whether any gastroscopy is required.. Take care..
