What Causes Extreme Fatigue And Hair Loss?

Hi, I am a 46 year old female. Two years ago I was diagnosed with more than 9 very large kidney stones in the ER. MY URINE WAS BLOOD RED. My blood pressure was like 105/98 for weeks. I have suffered from EXTREME exhaustion, unable to function normally for several years. One year ago, I learned I was anemic, and began taking iron supplements. Now all of these symptoms are back again, and my hair is falling out in clumps. What is going on?..

Hello,

I have gone through your query and would like to offer some suggestions. I think you have to get the renal function evaluation along with a complete hormone profile and blood counts. Deficient renal function can cause weakness and anemia, which in turn can cause hair fall; so is hypothyroidism. Proper management can be planned accordingly after investigation. Please see a specialist for further details.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam
