What Causes Extreme Fatigue, Dizziness And Appetite Loss?

I have been experiencing extreme fatigue and dizziness and loss of appetite so I went to the doctor and they tested me for mono which came back negative. They said I had a virus so I should rest and drink fluids. After 2 weeks I was feeling worse because I was experiencing shortness of breath and very bad headaches (migraines - vision loss/shooting pain from front/top of head and move through the back of my head). Those would last about 5 minutes and then become just a bad headache. When pressure is applied to my chest it is uncomfortable. My resting heart rate is 129 beats per minute. Doctor sent me for a chest x-ray which came back normal and bloodwork came back normal, too. Feeling worse today - fatigue and headaches are bad.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

We have to rule out possible causes like anemia and thyroid dysfunction.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
