Hi,

The symptoms you are describing, including extreme fatigue, low appetite, mood swings, and lightheadedness, could be indicative of several underlying conditions. Given that you mention having had cancer in the past, it is important to follow up on any test results related to that condition.

One potential cause of these symptoms could be anemia, which is a condition where there is a deficiency in red blood cells or hemoglobin, leading to a reduced capacity for the blood to carry oxygen throughout the body. This can cause fatigue, weakness, and lightheadedness. Other possible causes of these symptoms could include thyroid disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, anxiety, or other psychological disorders.

It is important to see a doctor to get a proper evaluation and diagnosis. The doctor may order blood tests, imaging tests, or other diagnostic tests to help determine the underlying cause of your symptoms. Treatment will depend on the underlying condition causing the symptoms. In the meantime, you can try to improve your overall health by eating a balanced diet, getting regular exercise, and practicing stress-reduction techniques.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
