What Causes Extreme Itching And Chills Post Platelet Infusion?
I had a heart cath yesterday. Before I had that i had to have an infusion of platelets, the day before I had to get and infusion of 2 doses of blood and one of platelets. When I got home I started itching really bad. I don t have bumps or a rash, it just looks like a bad sunburn, I also get chills, and because I have taken so much benadryl I am so very tired all the time. Do you think it maybe from the blood products or from the heart cath?
