What Causes Extreme Itching In The Body?

I have whole body extreme itching. This happened 10 years ago but not as bad. I ve never had food allergies and not on any new meds. I do have an occasional shingle out break on my butt. I ve tried many things to stop the itch. Valarien root helps but not much. Any thoughts?

The itching seems to be allergic. It could be of any new food, clothes, bed sheets, pets, any thing.
You could try Tab. Pheniramine maleate 25mg (Avil). Itching should ideally go down if it's allergic.
If not consult a doctor nearby for further investigations.
