What Causes Extreme Leg Pain And Tiredness While On Metoprolol Succinate?

was on metoprol succ for 9 years with extreme leg problems and lack of energy. Then stopped for apprx 3 years and felt lively again but not 100% some minor leg pain. Now my cardiologosit put on them again. after 19 pills I m experiencing the same leg pains and tiredness I had before. Any sugesstions? I do not want to take them anymore.

Hello I just read your query and I understand your concern about metoprolol and the leg pain you experience due to it.
Yes,Metoprolol does cause cold extremities in 1% of patients taking them which leads to Raynaud's phenomenon that means spasm of the arteries supplying the legs which causes pain in some patients.
I am not aware as to why you need this medicine in your case .
Maybe you can ask for an alternative drug rather than stopping it altogether.
