General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Sounds compression of the cervical nerve roots with radiating pain lower hands.

The swelling can be from cellulitis following some sort of bacterial infection of the skin or subcutaneous tissue involving the upper limb.

An immediate attention to your physician is warranted.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
