What Causes Extreme Pelvic Pain Along With Endometriosis?
Hello I am a 22 yr old Caucasian female, no children. I have the skyla iud as a form of birth control-inserted in July 2016. I have PCOS and endometriosis. I have been having excruciating pelvic pain for the last month, every evening and when I feel constipated. My ob gyn just checks the iud to see if it is in place and it is. Do you have an idea of what could be going on?

Hi, I think you should go for a ultrasound to see if there is any endometriotic ovarian cyst which is causing such severe pain. It will help you in making a diagnosis. Then you can consult your doctor for some hormonal treatment to relieve the pain. Hope I have answered your question.
